VPN (safe (virtual) private network) between vehicles and the central server and administration components in the Cloud, authentication and authorisation are carried out on the basis of certificates.

• FMS Client: Reading the FMS-CAN bus, decentralised data capture, central data pool with automation of the data transfer and integration in the central data bank
• FMS Front End: representation of vehicle position and status in a map-based overview

All Cloud-based services are designed to be unrestrictedly scalable; a separate virtual infrastructure is set up for each customer, with enough capacity to suit the customer’s needs.
